The Royal Film Commission of Jordan, through the Aqaba Film Center, organized a cinematic and interactive event for children at Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Children's Hospital/ Aqaba in collaboration with the Aqaba National Vocational Training Complex (ANVT)and Zain Company, as part of the global initiative 'Change Day'').
The event came within the framework of using cinema as a means of communication and enriching the human experience, by providing a recreational and interactive space for sick children and their families, allowing them to spend a different time in supportive atmospheres, and contributing to alleviating the burden of waiting and treatment and the pressures that may accompany them.
The event provided an experience that brings children and their families together around cinema in interactive atmospheres, enhancing the presence of art as a means of communication and reaching different segments of society, not just as a viewing experience.
This event comes within the Aqaba Film Center's approach to expanding the presence of cinema in society, utilizing it in initiatives with a social and humanitarian dimension, and creating spaces for interaction and closeness through art.
