Al-Khalaileh: The blood of Jordanians and the sanctity of places of worship are a red line

The head of the National Charter parliamentary bloc, MP Ali Al-Khalaileh, condemned the armed attack that targeted the Greek Orthodox Church in the Hamoud area of Karak Governorate, stressing that targeting innocent people and violating the sanctity of places of worship constitute a crime that requires holding the perpetrators accountable in accordance with the provisions of the law.

Al-Khalaileh affirmed that the affliction of Karak is the affliction of all Jordanians, and that the unity of Jordanians, Muslims and Christians, is deep-rooted and solid, and cannot be undermined by attempts to sow discord or incite strife, stressing that the blood of Jordanians and the sanctity of places of worship are a red line that must not be crossed.

He called for rallying around the Hashemite leadership, supporting the Jordanian Armed Forces and security services in their efforts to preserve the security and stability of the nation, relying on official sources for information, and rejecting rumors and all forms of incitement.

On behalf of the National Charter parliamentary bloc, Al-Khalaileh extended his sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, asking God Almighty to bestow His vast mercy upon the deceased, to grant the injured a speedy recovery, and to keep Jordan safe, stable, and united.
