He said that we in Jordan, Muslims and Christians, have always been brothers, with the same rights and duties. We have never known sectarian language, and we have all united in our love for the homeland and loyalty to our Hashemite leadership. We have made sacrifices to preserve the dignity of our homeland and maintain its security, independence, and stability. Therefore, we must all confront the advocates of sedition, hate speech, and those with suspicious agendas, as our coexistence and social fabric are a red line that we must preserve.
Al-Khushman called on citizens to be cautious of the attempts by forces of terrorism, extremism, and infiltrators to strike at national unity, and demanded that they deny the opportunity to those lurking with evil intentions against the homeland. He affirmed that Jordan will remain resilient against all attempts to sow division and sedition among its people, and that our national unity will remain an impenetrable barrier in the face of anyone who tries to tamper with the security and stability of the homeland.
He said that we in Jordan are proud that God has blessed us with a wise Hashemite leadership that has dedicated its efforts to spreading the culture of coexistence, love, and harmony, and working to promote noble human values and reject the culture of hatred. It has made Jordan a title for human brotherhood, tolerance, and respect for religions, and a model of fraternity between Muslims and Christians, where all components of Jordanian society live in a spirit of cooperation, tolerance, national belonging, and loyalty to the Hashemite leadership.
Al-Khushman said that we in the Union and Reform Parliamentary Bloc, while condemning this cowardly criminal act, affirm our standing by our security services and state institutions in confronting anyone who dares to harm Jordan's security and national unity, stressing that the security and stability of the homeland is everyone's responsibility, and that Jordan will remain strong through the unity of its people and the cohesion of its internal front.
He added that while we extend our sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the deceased, their relatives, loved ones, the people of Karak Governorate, Muslims and Christians, and the people of the nation in general, and we ask God to grant their families patience and solace, we pray to God Almighty to grant a speedy recovery to the injured and wounded, and to keep Jordan safe and stable under the shadow of its wise Hashemite leadership.
