Azm Party condemns the terrorist operation in Karak

The Secretary-General of the Azm Party, Engineer Zaid Naffa, and all party members, condemned in the strongest terms the heinous terrorist operation that took place in Karak Governorate today, Friday, at the Greek Orthodox Church - Hamoud, denouncing every criminal act that targets the security and safety of Jordanians, or seeks to undermine our firm national unity and cohesive social fabric.

Engineer Zaid Naffa affirmed, on behalf of the Azm Party, that Jordanian national unity is not merely a slogan, but rather firm constants and a supreme national value, and a historical and moral covenant that unites all Jordanians, which no crime can diminish, nor can attempts to tamper with the nation's security and stability shake it. Jordanians, of all origins and backgrounds, are one family and partners in history and destiny, united by love, brotherhood, and solidarity, and they stand as one rank in the face of anyone who tries to sow discord, plant fear, or undermine the security and cohesion of society.

The Azm Party emphasized its absolute support for His Majesty King Abdullah II, and its full support for the efforts of our security services in performing their national duty, uncovering the circumstances of this crime, pursuing its perpetrators, reaching everyone who stands behind or incites it, and bringing them to justice to receive their punishment in accordance with the law.

It pointed out that what unites Jordanians is greater than all attempts at sedition, and that their shared history, authentic values, and honorable national stances will remain stronger than any criminal act that targets their security or attempts to undermine their unity. Hence, our national and moral responsibility requires adhering to wisdom, solidarity, and cohesion, and not allowing any party to exploit this painful incident to spread rumors, fuel division, or harm the unity of Jordanian society.

He said that Jordan's security, stability, and national unity are a shared responsibility, and that standing as one rank behind our Hashemite leadership and our security services is an authentic national stance that embodies the Jordanians' belonging to their homeland and their keenness to protect its achievements and safeguard its future.

The party extended its sincerest condolences and sympathy to the families of the martyrs, their relatives and loved ones, and to the one Jordanian family, asking God Almighty to cover the martyrs with His vast mercy and grant them a place in His spacious gardens, to grant the injured a speedy recovery, and to protect Jordan, its leadership, people, and land, and to perpetuate upon it the blessing of security, safety, brotherhood, and national unity.
