Mubadara Party calls on Jordanians to rally around the nation and the Hashemite leadership, and condemns the armed attack on a church in Karak

The Mubadara Party calls on the people of Jordan to rally around the nation, its wise Hashemite leadership, its security apparatus, and the armed forces, and to stand as one in the face of anything that might undermine Jordan's security, stability, and national unity, emphasizing that a cohesive internal front and national awareness constitute an impenetrable fortress against attempts to incite strife and destabilize the country.

The party stresses the necessity of obtaining information only from official sources, avoiding the circulation of rumors or unverified news, and not being led by misleading information. It urges relying exclusively on statements issued by the competent government authorities and official spokespersons to preserve the security and unity of society, and to prevent any attempts to exploit events to spread fear, incite, or stir up division among Jordanians.

The Secretary-General of the Mubadara Party, Dr. Mohammad Abu Hudaib, said that the party condemns in the strongest terms the shooting incident inside a church in Karak Governorate, which, according to preliminary information, resulted in deaths and injuries. He affirmed his absolute rejection of this sinful attack, which violates the sanctity of places of worship and the sanctity of life, and constitutes an assault on religious, human, and national values, and on the system of brotherhood and coexistence that unites the Jordanian people.

He asserts that targeting places of worship and safe citizens is a crime that is rejected and condemned by all standards, and cannot be justified under any pretext. He adds that harming the security of Jordanians and their national unity is a red line that requires a firm and responsible national stance, far from any attempts at exploitation, incitement, or spreading hate speech.

The party extends its sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to the families of the victims, asking God to grant the deceased His vast mercy, to grant the injured a speedy recovery, and to protect Jordan and its people from all harm.

The party reaffirms that Jordan will remain, through the awareness of its people, their cohesion, and their rallying around their Hashemite leadership, a unified nation resistant to strife and division. It emphasizes that national responsibility in these circumstances requires prioritizing wisdom and awareness, relying on official sources, and standing as one behind state institutions to protect the nation's security and safeguard its unity.

May God keep Jordan safe and stable, perpetuate the blessing of security, unity, and brotherhood, and protect its wise Hashemite leadership.
