The Al-Islah Party condemned, on Friday, the shooting incident at Hamoud Church in Karak during a funeral procession, affirming that attacking the lives of citizens, terrorizing the safe, and violating the sanctity of places of worship is something rejected by Islamic, national, and humanitarian values.
The party stressed that the unity of Jordanians, Muslims and Christians, is firm, and that their security and dignity are a shared national responsibility that cannot be compromised under any pretext.
The party affirmed its confidence in the security services, calling for not spreading rumors or circulating unverified information.
The party expressed its solidarity with the injured and their families, asking God for the speedy recovery of the injured, and to protect Jordan and its people from all harm.
