National Charter Party: The blood of Jordanians and the sanctity of places of worship are a red line

The National Charter Party condemned in the strongest terms the armed attack on the Greek Orthodox Church in the Hamoud area of Karak Governorate.

In a statement today, Friday, the party affirmed that targeting innocent people and violating the sanctity of places of worship is a heinous crime that requires holding its perpetrators accountable with the maximum legal penalties.

The party stressed that this tragedy is the tragedy of every Jordanian, pointing out that the unity of Jordanians, Muslims and Christians alike, is firm and resistant to sedition, calling for rallying around the Hashemite leadership, supporting the armed forces and security services, relying on official sources, and rejecting rumors and incitement.

The party extended its sincere condolences to the families of the victims, asking God for mercy for the deceased and a speedy recovery for the injured, and that He may keep Jordan safe and united.
