The Northern Military Region thwarted, this Monday, an infiltration attempt by a person on one of its border fronts, after border guard forces managed to spot him while he was attempting to cross the border illegally.
The border guard forces dealt with the infiltrator according to the rules of engagement, managed to arrest him, and transferred him to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal measures against him.
The Jordanian Armed Forces continue to carry out their duties in securing and protecting the borders from infiltration attempts and illegal activities, within the framework of their duties to maintain the Kingdom's security and sovereignty.
