He affirmed that this criminal and terrorist act, which is condemned and denounced, will not undermine Jordan's steadfastness or the cohesion of its internal front, praising the efforts and sacrifices made by the security services in confronting anyone who dares to harm the security and stability of the Kingdom.
In the statement, Abu Fares stressed that targeting places of worship and safe citizens represents a red line and a direct assault on the national social fabric and the coexistence that has characterized Jordan throughout history, confirming that the pursuit of spreading strife and the desperate attempts to divide the national ranks will always shatter against the awareness and cohesion of Jordanians.
He emphasized that confronting terrorism and this misguided group requires a comprehensive intellectual and cultural battle to dry up the sources of obscurantist and extremist discourse, and to spread the values of tolerance, moderation, and pluralism to protect minds and youth from dark ideology.
On behalf of the members of the General Assembly of the Union, the President of the Jordan Publishers Union extended his sincerest condolences and sympathy to the leader of the country, the families of the victims, and the entire Jordanian people, asking God Almighty to cover them with His vast mercy, to grant a speedy recovery to the injured, and to keep Jordan dear, towering, safe, and resistant to every terrorist hand.
