Launch of the Puppet Theater and Curriculum Theater Festival at Hai Al-Matar School

Under the patronage of the Directorate of Education for Marka District, and supervised by the Educational Activities Department, represented by department head Ibrahim Al-Qaraleh and Alaa Matarneh, the Puppet Theater and Curriculum Theater Festival kicked off at Hai Al-Matar Secondary School, in the presence of school principal Mrs. Rassal Al-Qazaa. The event is part of efforts to enhance educational and cultural activities and strengthen the role of school theater in the learning process.

The judging committee, composed of Issa Al-Jarrah, Seham Ahmed, and Al-Mundhir Khalil, evaluated the participating theatrical performances according to artistic and educational criteria designed to highlight students' talents and encourage their creativity.

The festival aims to affirm the importance of school theater as an effective educational tool that helps reinforce academic concepts, develop communication, dialogue, and self-expression skills, enhance self-confidence and teamwork, and foster students' creative and artistic sensibilities.

Two top-ranking groups are scheduled to be nominated to represent the school at the regional level, providing students with broader opportunities to showcase their theatrical talents and represent the Directorate of Education for Marka District in subsequent stages.

The organization of this festival aligns with the Ministry of Education's strategic direction to support extracurricular activities and provide a stimulating educational environment that enables students to demonstrate their abilities and talents and utilize the arts in service of the educational process.
