Ajloun Chamber of Commerce: The Royal Speech embodies a national vision based on Jordanian constants

The Ajloun Chamber of Commerce and the commercial sector in Ajloun Governorate affirmed that the speech of His Majesty King Abdullah II at the opening of the Parliament session embodied a clear national vision, based on the constants of the Jordanian state, and reflected the depth of royal responsibility in protecting the nation’s security and continuing the modernization process.

The Chamber’s family and the commercial sector, represented by its General Manager Yazan Al-Samadi, expressed their pride in the firm and decisive royal positions toward the various challenges facing the region, foremost among them the threat of terrorism and extremism.

It emphasized that national unity, the cohesion of the internal front, and rallying around the Hashemite leadership and state institutions are fundamental pillars for protecting Jordan and safeguarding its security and stability, valuing the national role and sacrifices made by the brave men of the Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army, and the security services, in defending the homeland.

It pointed out that the economic and modernization contents of the Royal Speech place upon various sectors and institutions a national responsibility that goes beyond statements to action and achievement, by translating visions and directives into practical programs and productive and investment projects that contribute to moving the wheel of the economy, stimulating the business environment, attracting investments, and providing job opportunities.

The Chamber and the commercial sector stressed the importance of empowering the private sector as a primary partner in development and a main driver of economic activity, the necessity of removing obstacles facing business owners and commercial and investment establishments, and strengthening the true partnership between the public and private sectors in a way that enhances investment, production, and employment.

It emphasized the importance of giving the agricultural and tourism sectors an advanced priority within development plans, due to Ajloun’s promising natural, agricultural, and tourism components, and the real opportunities it possesses to establish productive and tourism projects, market local products, and provide job opportunities.

It pointed out that water security constitutes a national and strategic priority that cannot be postponed, due to its direct link to food security, economic stability, and sustainable development, which requires continuing to develop water infrastructure and raising the efficiency of resource management.

It indicated that the coming stage requires investing in national energies and competencies, promoting a culture of production, innovation, and self-reliance, expanding the participation of youth and women in economic activity, and directing scientific and technological capabilities to serve productive sectors, in addition to consolidating integration between official institutions, the private sector, and the local community.

The Chamber and the commercial sector concluded by affirming that the content of the speech represents a roadmap and a shared responsibility, and that loyalty to the royal vision is not achieved through slogans alone, but through hard work, noting that the commercial sector in Ajloun will remain an authentic part of the building system and an active partner in the process of modernization and development.
