Four Palestinians were injured on Monday due to a beating assault by Israeli settlers in the Salfit Governorate, in the northern West Bank.
Meanwhile, settlers burned two vehicles and assaulted farmers while they were harvesting olives, coinciding with arrests carried out by Israeli forces in various areas of the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said in a brief statement received by Anadolu Agency that its crews treated 4 injuries resulting from the beating assault in the Farkha area, west of Salfit, noting that the injured were transported to the hospital.
Also in Salfit, settlers attacked farmers in the Wadi al-Shaer area, east of the governorate, and burned two vehicles, according to the official Palestinian news agency "Wafa".
The agency added that other settlers assaulted farmers while they were picking olives in the Wadi al-Ain area in the town of Deir Ballut, west of Salfit.
In the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate, in the central West Bank, Israeli forces detained a child during a raid on the village of Abu Falah, northeast of Ramallah, before releasing him later near the village entrance, according to "Wafa".
The agency stated that the forces raided the village, deployed in various parts of it, and detained the child for a period before releasing him.
In the Qalqilya Governorate, in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces arrested two young men and two children from the village of Kafr Qaddum, east of the city, according to "Wafa".
The agency quoted local sources as saying that the forces raided the northern area of the village and arrested the two young men and the two children while they were harvesting olives.
In Hebron, in the southern West Bank, Israeli occupation forces arrested two Palestinians following an assault carried out by settlers on olive pickers in Masafer Yatta, according to local sources to Anadolu.
The sources reported that a group of settlers attacked Palestinian farmers while they were harvesting olives in the Sha'ab al-Butm area in Masafer Yatta and attempted to prevent them from finishing the harvest, while occupation forces raided the area and arrested two of the farmers.
Official Palestinian data indicates the presence of about 750,000 Israeli settlers in the West Bank, including occupied East Jerusalem, distributed across 194 settlements and about 400 settlement outposts.
Since the beginning of the Israeli genocidal war in the Gaza Strip in 2023, the Israeli army's assaults and settler terrorism against Palestinians and their property have intensified in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem.
These terrorist attacks include killing and arresting Palestinians, demolishing homes and facilities, burning mosques and cars, bulldozing agricultural land, stealing crops, preventing farmers from reaching their farms, displacing Palestinians, and settlement expansion on their lands.
