Conservative candidate Flávio Bolsonaro said on Sunday that he will demand the "annulment of the elections" following his defeat to the leftist Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
He said in Brasília, "It is impossible to recognize the election result," adding that "many things still need to be clarified," referring to the judicial decision that authorized the extension of voting hours due to public transport problems that hindered some voters.
