In a national canvas vibrant with creativity and authentic heritage, the Zarqa Governorate Culture Directorate, represented by the King Abdullah II Cultural Center, celebrated the conclusion of the specialized training program in "Mosaic Art," which lasted for three months filled with diligent work and witnessed the graduation of three consecutive batches of creative and participating women who demonstrated an exceptional ability to transform lifeless stones into artistic pieces that pulse with life and beauty.
This unique program is a continuation of the Ministry of Culture's mission to preserve Jordan's cultural heritage, support the cultural and creative industries sector, and empower women economically and socially by refining their talents and preparing them to produce entrepreneurial and sustainable craft projects. During the program, participants received intensive theoretical and practical training supervised by a group of specialized trainers, which included the secrets of this ancient art, skills for cutting stones and cubes with utmost precision, and the design and implementation of unique mosaic paintings that reflect a high taste and mastery.
For his part, the Director of Culture of Zarqa Governorate, Mr. Muhammad Al-Za'abi, emphasized during his talk about this course its utmost importance in preserving the artistic and cultural identity, pointing out how to invest these skills to transform art into a cultural industry par excellence capable of competing and producing. He explained that true creativity does not stop at the boundaries of beauty alone but extends to become a sustainable economic and social resource that reflects the authenticity of the place and the identity of the human being.
These efforts culminated in the opening of the art exhibition of the outputs of these courses, where the attendees toured the exhibition to view the amazing models and artistic paintings that the participants made with their own hands throughout the training period, and the attendees expressed their great admiration for the high level of professionalism and aesthetics that appeared in the works on display, which embody the fruit of effort and commitment.
The event concluded with the distribution of honorary certificates to the graduating participants amidst an atmosphere of pride and esteem, in appreciation of their exceptional efforts and positive interaction, thus the directorate closes an inspiring page of training and opens new doors for them towards a bright future that integrates authenticity with creativity.
