Zarqa Culture Launches the Journey of Knowledge in Zarqa Schools

The Zarqa Governorate Culture Directorate, in cooperation with the governorate's education directorates, launched yesterday a new package of book fairs and Ministry of Culture publications within schools.

This cultural event serves as a bridge between students and national intellectual products, as the exhibitions are held in an interactive style that continues until the 28th of this month, with an average of two days at each educational institution. The first phase of this campaign targets 11 schools, with the launch taking place today at Hind Bint Utbah School in the Sakhneh area, amidst remarkable turnout from students and teaching staff.

This initiative aims to make the Ministry of Culture's intellectual and literary treasures available at symbolic preferential prices, to encourage book acquisition and the establishment of home libraries, and to embody the Ministry's vision of supporting Jordanian writers and marketing cultural and intellectual industries as a fundamental pillar in building society.

In this context, the Directorate confirms that these school tours come as a continuation of its ongoing efforts to spread culture, as it provides the governorate's residents and those interested with a permanent book and publication exhibition throughout the week at the King Abdullah II Cultural Center, offering all Ministry of Culture publications at preferential prices and with continuous support, to be a permanent destination for all lovers of reading and knowledge.
