The Jordanian Expatriate Platform confirmed that His Majesty King Abdullah II's speech before the United Nations General Assembly carried clear messages regarding Jordan's constants and positions on regional issues, foremost of which is the Palestinian issue, and the protection of the Kingdom's security, sovereignty, and national interests.

In a statement issued by the platform, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Hassan Al-Barmawi, said that Jordanian expatriates in various countries around the world followed His Majesty's speech with interest and pride, due to its affirmation of the need for the international community to bear its responsibilities towards the crises in the region, and to protect the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.

Al-Barmawi pointed out that the presence of His Highness Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II, Crown Prince, alongside His Majesty during the speech reflects the continuity of the state and its Hashemite approach, and confirms the presence of Jordanian youth in international forums, which enhances the process of preparing young leaders and their assumption of national responsibilities.

He added that His Majesty's speech affirmed Jordan's constants towards any infringement on its sovereignty and national security, and rejected attempts to forcibly displace Palestinians, considering it an issue that affects Jordan's national security and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.

He pointed out that the royal speech sent clear messages to the international community regarding the commitment to international law and resolutions of international legitimacy, and the responsibility of states to protect security and peace, in addition to the importance of confronting the misinformation that accompanies regional crises and enhancing the presence of facts in international discourse.

Al-Barmawi confirmed that Jordanians abroad represent an extension of their homeland, and they have a role in conveying the image of Jordan and its positions to the societies in which they live, and maintaining their connection with their homeland and its national issues.

He said that the Jordanian Expatriate Platform, with its cadres and members in various countries around the world, puts its experiences and economic and media capabilities at the service of the national position, and supports efforts aimed at highlighting Jordan's positions and constants towards national and national issues.

The Preparatory Committee of the National Front confirmed that His Majesty King Abdullah II's speech before the United Nations General Assembly came at a highly complex regional moment, and placed the Palestinian issue at the forefront of the scene, warning of the risks of occupation, settlement, forced displacement, and Israeli expansion and its repercussions on Jordan's and the region's security.

The Committee added in a statement today that the speech linked the aggression on Gaza and the West Bank and the Israeli escalation in Lebanon and Syria and the war on Iran, pointing out that dealing with these developments as separate events would obscure the nature of the political project linked to aggression, settlement, and imposing new facts on the ground and undermining the establishment of a Palestinian state.

It praised the clarity of the speech in rejecting displacement, the liquidation of the Palestinian cause, and the imposition of facts by force, confirming that the Palestinian issue represents the core of the conflict in the Middle East, in light of the escalation of risks resulting from Israeli policies and their regional repercussions.

It said that the continuation of occupation, settlement, forced displacement, and Israeli expansion has direct repercussions on Jordan, especially in light of the developments in southern Syria, noting that the speech linked these developments to Jordan's security, borders, and water security, reflecting the nature of the challenges facing the Kingdom from a national security perspective.

In the same context, the Committee considered that the speech placed the international community before its responsibilities, confirming that the challenge does not lie in the absence of international decisions and tools, but in the political will necessary to apply them to everyone without double standards, in light of the continuation of settlement, violence, and displacement in the West Bank, and the ongoing humanitarian tragedy in the Gaza Strip.

The statement affirmed that the importance of the speech is not limited to the positions it contained, but extends to the questions it raises before Jordanian policy in dealing with regional repercussions, indicating the strengthening of the internal front and enhancing Jordan's ability to face regional challenges.

They explained that the speech was clear in its constants, frank in its messages, balanced in its language, strong in its logic, placing the Palestinian issue in its natural place as a matter of justice, right, and dignity, holding the international community responsible for what is happening in Gaza and the West Bank, and warning that continuing to ignore the roots of the conflict does not create peace, but postpones the explosion and deepens the tragedy.

They also noted that what was striking in His Majesty's speech was that he did not speak from a position of emotion, but from the position of a state that knows its constants, understands its interests, adheres to international law, and defends Jerusalem, the holy sites, and Palestinian rights, while at the same time protecting Jordan's security, stability, and national interests.
