Director of Palestinian Affairs and Head of the Parliamentary Palestine Committee offer condolences for the martyrs of Karak

The Director-General of the Department of Palestinian Affairs, Engineer Rafiq Khirfan, and the Head of the Parliamentary Palestine Committee, MP Suleiman Al-Saud, accompanied by the heads of camp services committees and members of advisory bodies, paid their respects on Sunday to the martyrs of the Hamoud area in Karak Governorate, who lost their lives in the attack that targeted a church in the town, offering condolences to their families in a gesture that embodies the values of solidarity, brotherhood, and cohesion among the members of the one Jordanian family.

Khirfan and the accompanying delegation conveyed their sincerest condolences and sympathy to the families of the martyrs, expressing deep sadness and sorrow for this painful loss, and affirming that targeting innocent people and places of worship represents an assault on human and religious values, and that standing by the victims' families is a national and humanitarian duty that reflects the authenticity of Jordanian society and the cohesion of its people.

Khirfan emphasized that this visit comes as an expression of sincere solidarity with the families of the martyrs and sharing in their grief, noting that Jordanians form one family that shares joys and sorrows, and rallies around one another in various circumstances, reflecting the strength of the Jordanian national fabric and the authenticity of its values.

He added that the residents of Palestinian camps in Jordan form an integral part of the national fabric, and are bound to their Jordanian brothers by ties of brotherhood, love, belonging, and a common destiny, stressing that such positions embody the unity of the Jordanian ranks and strengthen the values of compassion, solidarity, and mutual support among the various components of society.

Khirfan stressed that Jordan's strength and resilience are based on the unity of its internal front, the cohesion of its people, and their rallying around their Hashemite leadership, led by His Majesty King Abdullah II, affirming that the cohesion of Jordanians constitutes a safety valve in the face of challenges, and that the awareness of society and its adherence to the values of brotherhood, tolerance, and coexistence prevent the success of any attempts to undermine the security and stability of the homeland or harm the unity of its people.

He pointed out that Jordan, under its wise Hashemite leadership and the awareness of its people, is continuing to consolidate the values of moderation and tolerance and to safeguard human dignity, affirming that Jordanians of all origins and components are united by a firm national identity and a common destiny, and that the tragedy that befell the people of Hamoud in Karak is a tragedy for all Jordanians that calls for more solidarity, cooperation, and standing as one.

This visit comes as an affirmation of the importance of strengthening community communication and consolidating bridges of love and brotherhood among the members of Jordanian society, and as an embodiment of the values of national solidarity, which enhances the cohesion of the internal front and preserves the unity of the Jordanian ranks in the face of various challenges.
