Umniah, a Beyon Company, Nears Launch of Amman’s Largest Data Center After Achieving Tier III Certification

Umniah, a Beyon company and ranked as the best mobile network in Jordan, announced that its new data center in Amman has obtained the Tier III Certification of Design Documents (TCDD) from the Uptime Institute, the global authority specializing in digital infrastructure performance standards. This achievement comes as the company approaches the launch of the new center, which will be added to Umniah’s portfolio of data centers and is considered the largest in Amman.

The certification confirms that the data center's design documents meet the global requirements of the Tier III classification, reflecting the level of reliability, flexibility, and maintainability adopted in its design. The new center represents a qualitative step in Umniah's journey to develop its digital infrastructure, building on its existing expertise and investments in data centers, telecommunications, networking, and ICT solutions.

Amjad Farouqa, Chief Information Security and Business Continuity Officer at Umniah, said: "Obtaining the Tier III design documents certification marks an important milestone in the development of the new data center, reflecting the level of ambition and standards we set for the next phase.
