His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II honored Umniah, a Beyon company, in recognition of its long-standing role over the years as a key supporter of the Crown Prince Foundation (CPF) and its initiatives, as well as its contributions to empowering youth, supporting national development, and enhancing the Kingdom's digital future. Umniah CEO, Jonathan Delves, received the honorary shield during a ceremony held on Monday, October 12, 2026, marking the tenth anniversary of the establishment of the Crown Prince Foundation.
This honor reflects Umniah's ongoing commitment to supporting the Crown Prince Foundation and its approach to linking investment in technology with Jordan's development priorities. Through its digital infrastructure projects and its educational and community initiatives, the company works to provide opportunities for youth, support the business sector, and expand access to the tools and skills necessary in an increasingly digitized economy.
The long-term collaboration between Umniah and the Crown Prince Foundation forms a core pillar of these efforts, stemming from a shared commitment to empowering Jordanian youth and providing opportunities to develop their capabilities. The company’s support for the "Tawasol" forum contributes to encouraging dialogue and giving youth a space to participate in discussions about Jordan's future. This approach extends to education and enhancing employment opportunities through Umniah’s collaboration with Al Hussein Technical University to strengthen the link between education and the technology sector, while its "Shababi" campaign enables connection with university students and supports their readiness to enter the labor market.
In addition to education and youth empowerment, Umniah’s commitment to creating a sustainable impact extends to local communities across the Kingdom. Through the "Forsa" initiative, the company works to rehabilitate public school playgrounds to provide better spaces for students to play and practice sports. Furthermore, the "Umniah Al-Khair" Ramadan campaigns and its long-standing collaboration with Tkiyet Um Ali contribute to supporting needy families. The company’s employee volunteering program, “UVolunteer,” in collaboration with the "Nahno" platform, allows employees to dedicate their time and skills to initiatives that respond to community needs. Together, these efforts reflect Umniah’s approach to building ongoing partnerships that meet societal needs and create a tangible impact.
In parallel with these programs, Umniah continues to expand its 5G network, develop communication services, and invest in data centers. Building on its experience in the Jordanian market and the regional capabilities of the Beyon Group, the company is strengthening the infrastructure needed by institutions to adopt cloud services, manage increasing volumes of data, and leverage emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence.
Umniah’s project to connect schools to the internet and provide cybersecurity brings the impact of this investment directly into classrooms by providing secure internet access and a technical environment that supports the use of digital learning tools and resources.
Commenting on the honor, Jonathan Delves said: "We are proud of this recognition from His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, on an occasion that celebrates a decade of the Crown Prince Foundation’s work. This appreciation holds great value for every individual at Umniah and strengthens our resolve to contribute to Jordan’s progress. We believe that the value of technology lies in the opportunities it provides, whether by helping an institution grow, enabling students to access learning resources, or equipping youth with skills that open new horizons for them."
He added: "Our collaboration with the Crown Prince Foundation, universities, and community institutions helps us respond to actual needs and reach a larger number of beneficiaries. As we continue to invest in Jordan’s digital infrastructure, we will build on these relationships to support national talent and enable more Jordanian youth to participate in the digital economy."
For her part, Dima Al-Daoud, Director of Brand and Corporate Communications at Umniah, said: "Our approach to social responsibility is based on building long-term partnerships that create a tangible and sustainable impact. Through our extended relationship with the Crown Prince Foundation and our collaboration with educational and community institutions, we focus on initiatives that respond to actual needs, empower youth, and link education to opportunities. We believe that sustainable community impact is achieved through the continuity of efforts, collaboration, and a shared commitment to building a better future for Jordan."
