The Judge Condemns the Targeting of Mecca and Affirms Support for Saudi Arabia

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mazen Al-Qadi, expressed his strong condemnation of the heinous attempt targeting Mecca with a drone, affirming that any harm to the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or exposing Islamic holy sites to any danger constitutes a serious transgression that cannot be accepted.

Al-Qadi emphasized that targeting Mecca, given its deep-rooted significance in the consciousness of the Islamic nation, does not only target and harm the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia alone, but also provokes the feelings of Muslims around the world and threatens the sanctity of holy places.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives stressed that the security and stability of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are fundamental to the security of the region, and any attempts to destabilize it or endanger the lives of citizens and residents therein require a clear international stance that rejects targeting civilians and holy sites, and emphasizes the need to adhere to the rules of international law.

Al-Qadi expressed his full solidarity with the President of the Saudi Shura Council, Dr. Abdullah bin Muhammad Al-Sheikh, with the Shura Council and the Saudi people, affirming Jordan's support for the Kingdom in facing anything that threatens its security and the integrity of its territories, and wishing the Kingdom continued security and stability.
