The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the attempt to target Mecca with a drone launched by the Houthi militia; a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the sister Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a threat to its security and stability and the integrity of its territories, a blatant breach of international law, and a rejected aggression that represents a disregard for the status and sanctity of Mecca and an affront to the feelings of Muslims.
The official spokesperson for the Ministry, Ambassador Fuad Al-Mujal, affirmed the absolute solidarity of the Kingdom with the sister Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and its support for it in all the steps it takes to protect its security, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents.
