Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mazen Al-Qadi, condemned the two attacks that targeted King Khalid International Airport in the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, affirming the rejection of anything that would undermine the sovereignty, security, and stability of sisterly Saudi Arabia, or endanger the lives of its citizens and residents.
Al-Qadi, on his own behalf and on behalf of the members of the House of Representatives, expressed their full solidarity with the Speaker of the Saudi Shura Council, Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Sheikh, and with the Shura Council and the brotherly Saudi people, affirming their standing by the Kingdom in the face of attacks targeting its security.
He emphasized that these attacks represent a violation of state sovereignty and a breach of international laws and norms, and constitute a threat to the security and stability of the region, stressing the need to respect the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its territorial integrity, and rejecting all practices aimed at destabilizing its security or terrorizing its citizens and residents on its land.
He expressed his sincerest condolences and sympathy to the families of the Saudi victims, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured, and praying that God may protect the Kingdom and its people, and perpetuate the blessing of security and stability upon it.
