The Arab League condemns the Houthi attack on King Khalid Airport in Saudi Arabia

The Arab League condemned, in the strongest terms, the continued terrorist attacks by the Houthi militia targeting the territory of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the latest of which was the renewed attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, which resulted in civilian casualties and injuries.

The League affirmed that the repeated targeting of civil aviation facilities and endangering the lives of passengers and workers represents a very dangerous escalation and a flagrant violation of the provisions of international law, and also constitutes a direct threat to the safety of civilians, international air navigation, and the security and stability of the region.

The League stressed its complete rejection of these attacks, reiterating its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its support for all legitimate measures it takes to protect its security, the safety of its territory, its citizens, and residents, confirming that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of Arab national security.

It also expressed its sincere condolences to the Kingdom and the families of the victims, and its wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured.
