The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that the Jbessa gas export pipeline was targeted in the Al-Arabidi area, located about 60 kilometers from the city of Al-Shaddadi, which led to a fire breaking out.
The agency quoted the director of the media office at the Syrian Petroleum Company, Odai Al-Satouf, as saying that the competent authorities are following up on the developments to deal with the bombing incident and contain its effects, noting that the area has been isolated, sectional valves before and after the target site have been closed, and the surrounding area has been secured.
