Postponement of the Irbid Branch Writers' Association Elections Due to Incomplete Quorum

The committee overseeing the elections of the Irbid Branch of the Jordanian Writers' Association decided today, Saturday, to postpone the elections due to the lack of a legal quorum.

It was planned to hold the ordinary general meeting of the branch to discuss the annual agenda and elect a new administrative body, but the failure to reach the required number of general body members present prevented the elections from taking place.

The committee set the date for the elections as Sunday, October 11th, at 6 PM, in accordance with the provisions of the association's internal regulations and approved procedures.

The Irbid branch elections are part of the organizational requirements of the Jordanian Writers' Association, which includes branches in several governorates of the Kingdom.
