The President of the Association, poet Olayan Al-Adwan, who moderated the evening, emphasized the importance of cultural cooperation between Jordan and the UAE in strengthening the poetic and literary movement, praising the role of the Emirati House of Poetry in supporting poets and enriching the cultural scene in the Jordanian Badia.

Al-Adwan praised the efforts of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah, in sponsoring Arab culture and supporting houses of poetry. He also valued the role of the Jordanian Ministry of Culture and the efforts of Minister of Culture Mustafa Al-Rawashdeh in supporting cultural institutions and intellectuals, pointing to the importance of initiatives that contribute to enhancing the presence of classical Arabic poetry.

Al-Adwan began his participation by reciting a collection of verses titled "A Tribute to Sharjah," in which he expressed his pride in the emirate and its role in sponsoring thought, culture, and the dissemination of Arabic poetry. He also extended his thanks to the Department of Culture in Sharjah, represented by its Chairman Abdullah Al Owais, Director of Cultural Affairs Department Mohammed Al Qaseer, the management of the House of Poetry, and the work team, in appreciation of their efforts in supporting the poetic movement and enhancing cultural cooperation.

For his part, poet Mohammad Al-Jahaleen reviewed aspects of his poetic experience, highlighting his series of poems "Beads and Aquamarine," which is based on poetic dialogue and counter-poetry, and invoking the experiences of a number of great Arab poets throughout the ages, in an experience that combines poetic creativity and critical reading.

In turn, poet and critic Abdul Basit Al-Kayali recited a collection of his sentimental poems that sang of the homeland, in addition to texts that dealt with Palestine, and a ghazal (love) poem. The readings came within the framework of vertical poetry, with its artistic and rhythmic specificity.

At the conclusion of the evening, Al-Adwan and Al-Sarhan presented certificates of appreciation to the participants in recognition of their contribution to the success of the event, which comes in the context of strengthening Jordanian-Emirati cultural cooperation and expanding communication spaces between poets and institutions concerned with sponsoring Arabic literature.
