The Emirati poet, Muhammad Al-Bariki, Director of the Sharjah Poetry House, revisited aspects of his poetic experience in a poetic evening hosted by the Ajloun Cultural Center last Sunday evening, stopping at the father, the homeland, Amman, and Arar, expressing his relationship with Jordan, its cities, and its history amidst a noticeable interaction from the audience.

The evening was held in cooperation between the Ajloun Poets and Writers Association and the Directorates of Culture of Ajloun and Irbid, in the presence of an elite group of poets, writers, intellectuals, and poetry lovers, in a meeting that emphasized the importance of Arab cultural communication and enhancing the presence of poetry in the Jordanian cultural scene.

Al-Bariki read a collection of his poems that reflected the diversity of his experience between classical and vernacular poetry, and what they carry of human and emotional dimensions, moving between themes and experiences linked to man, place, and homeland.

The poems that he addressed about Jordan, Amman, and Arar received special interaction from the public, along with other poems that he evoked about the father and the homeland, in an experience that combined the personal dimension, human concern, and celebration of the place.

Al-Bariki's participation is of particular importance given his presence in the Arab poetic scene, alongside his role in managing the Sharjah Poetry House, which constitutes an active space for hosting poets, critics, and organizing Arab poetry evenings and events.

The evening provided a space to introduce Al-Bariki's poetic experience to the young generations in Ajloun and opened a field for exchanging experiences between poets and Jordanian and Arab cultural institutions, thereby enhancing cultural partnerships and enriching the literary movement.

The Ajloun Poets and Writers Association appreciated the cooperation with the Ajloun and Irbid Culture Directorates, affirming the importance of these meetings in supporting poets and writers and opening new horizons for cooperation and cultural events.

At the end of the evening, the poet Muhammad Al-Bariki was honored in recognition of his presence and participation, along with the appreciation of cultural entities and figures that contributed to the success of the meeting.
