Musical Cooperation Opens Cultural Exchange Paths Between 'Fuheis' and 'Malmo'

A new cooperation agreement between the Jordanian Fuheis Festival and the International Malmo Oud and Song Festival opens up a wider space for artistic and cultural exchange through joint programs that provide Jordanian and Arab artists and musicians with opportunities to connect with international musical experiences.

The agreement was signed by the President of the Fuheis Youth Club and the Executive Director of the Fuheis Festival, Ayman Samawi, and the Executive Director of the International Malmo Oud and Song Festival, Youssef Badr, as part of a move to enhance cooperation between festivals and exchange expertise in the fields of organization and artistic programming.

The agreement includes cooperation in artistic events and programs, encouraging the participation of artists and musicians, as well as exchanging experiences and expertise related to the management and organization of festivals, thereby expanding the channels of communication between creators and cultural and artistic institutions.

Samawi said that Jordan has a diverse repertoire of music, song, and arts, pointing to the role played by the Fuheis Festival in supporting the cultural and artistic movement, hosting Arab experiences, and enhancing the presence of Jordanian and Arab artists.

This step comes in the context of the growing cultural partnerships between festivals, allowing artistic experiences to move beyond their local borders, and giving Jordanian music a new space to be introduced and interact with the international cultural scene.
