Médecins Sans Frontières said on Monday that Israel is continuing its genocidal war in the Gaza Strip, systematically destroying the conditions Palestinians need to survive in the area.
In a statement, it added that Israel is increasingly strangling Gaza and continuing its genocide.
It explained that the living spaces available to Palestinians in the area are shrinking, while their means of survival are being systematically destroyed through ongoing violence, the deliberate siege of basic needs, and the destruction of health services and vital infrastructure.
It continued: "Over the past year, the physical siege imposed on Gaza's residents has tightened with Israel's establishment of the so-called Yellow Line".
It pointed out that this line was initially presented as a "temporary site for the first phase military withdrawal and a key part of the continuation of the so-called ceasefire", but it has now been reinforced with military sites, earthen ramparts, and ongoing demolitions.
It continued that the line continues to advance westward, pushing Palestinians into an ever-shrinking space.
The organization said that Israeli forces currently occupy about 65% of the Gaza Strip and use this line to draw clear boundaries around the area.
It pointed out that the violence is not limited to the areas around the 'Yellow Line', explaining that its teams have treated over 1,200 cases of violence-related injuries across the Strip during June and July, despite the "so-called ceasefire".
It noted that these cases included injuries from explosions, burns, and physical assaults.
Médecins Sans Frontières confirmed that access to healthcare in Gaza has deteriorated sharply over the past three years, while hospitals are increasingly lacking essential supplies, and patients are deprived of life-saving medicines and treatments.
It said: "The destruction of the health system in Gaza, the damage to more than 80% of all buildings in the area, and the physical and psychological problems that will last a lifetime as a result of repeated violence and displacement, will far exceed the present and will hinder any real recovery in the coming years".
The genocide that Israel began on October 8, 2023, has resulted in the martyrdom of more than 74,000 Palestinians, the injury of over 175,000 others, and massive destruction affecting 90% of civilian infrastructure.
