The Ministry emphasized that recycling these flimsy pretexts is nothing but the creation of false justifications aimed at covering the Israeli war machine and paving the way for the continued undermining and destruction of what remains of the health infrastructure.
The Ministry continued: "These misleading claims, which are repeated in a blatant manner, come at a time when the aggression enters its third consecutive year of systematic medical genocide and direct targeting of the health system in the Gaza Strip, which has resulted in the destruction of most hospitals, rendering them out of service, and the elimination of health capabilities that were built over decades".
The Ministry stressed that recycling these pretexts at this time is nothing but an overt attempt to create media cover and flimsy justifications for the Israeli war machine, in preparation for the continued undermining of what remains of the health system and attacking what remains of hospitals and medical centers.
It said that what is present inside the hospitals and medical centers operating today are nothing but wounded and sick people struggling with death, and medical and humanitarian staff working with the minimum resources and capabilities under extremely harsh conditions to provide the minimum medical care services, amid a severe shortage of medicines and healthcare requirements.
It added: "The Israeli occupation was not satisfied with the suffocating siege, preventing the entry of medicine and medical supplies, and obstructing the travel of thousands of the wounded and sick to receive treatment abroad, but insists on continuing to pursue healthcare even in its last remaining refuges".
The Ministry confirmed that the doors of all hospitals and health facilities have been and remain open without exception to all international organizations, UN institutions, and human rights and humanitarian organizations, to enter and closely inspect the nature of the work inside them and verify these false allegations, stressing that the permanent evidence is that these facilities carry nothing but the pains of the Palestinian people and the message of their humanitarian staff.
The Ministry called on the international community, UN and human rights institutions, and all free people of the world to intervene urgently and immediately to curb the Israeli destruction machine, provide effective and direct international protection for medical staff and institutions, and stop the systematic policy of misinformation that legitimizes the shedding of the blood of the wounded and medical staff within what remains of treatment places.
