Writer Majd al-Din «The Godfather of Poetry» participates in the activities of the twenty-fifth session of the Amman International Book Fair with a collection of his publications that reflect a literary experience spanning more than two decades and varying between prose and novels, and focusing on issues of humanity, love, power, corruption, betrayal, and the search for truth.
The writer presents at the fair five novels published consecutively by the Yafa Scientific Publishing and Distribution House, which are «The Red Flood» published in 2021 and«The Empty Train Ticket Movie» in 2023 and«Let's Stop Here» in 2024,«A Drop of Sun» in 2025 and«After Several Previous Years» published in 2026.
The events of the novel «The Red Flood» revolve around a writer in one of the newspapers who finds himself involved in a murder case before being smuggled out of prison, starting a journey of revenge during which he pursues everyone who had a role in implicating him in a narrative that is based on suspense and tracking the threads of the crime and its consequences.
In «The Empty Train Ticket Movie» the writer raises the relationship between literature and reality through a writer who tries to publish a novel that deals with a society governed by interests even at the expense of family values, but circumstances prevent the novel from seeing the light, making the writing itself a confrontation with a reality that does not easily allow the truth to be told.
As for «Let's Stop Here» it tells the story of a couple forced to hide in a shelter due to bombing, where they find themselves facing the past and present and the questions and accounts that memory holds that have not been resolved over the years.
In the novel «A Drop of Sun» the narrative moves to a world where power and corruption intersect through the Al-Ta'ay family, who try to escape their past and build a new future through a small restaurant that gradually turns into a center of influence.
Between loss, betrayal, love, and revenge, the destinies of Father Zahid, his son Wafi, and Asma intertwine, revealing the human struggle with his past and ambitions and the shadows that follow him.
In his latest novel «After Several Previous Years» the writer continues to explore the intersection of art, media, and power through the writer Hilal al-Erfan, who finds himself facing a network of influence after meeting a runaway girl named Reemas, the daughter of a powerful businessman who reveals her exposure to domestic violence and forced marriage.
Events develop with the entry of characters from the artistic and media world in an attempt to uncover the corruption of the businessman, while the drama turns into a means of confronting the truth, and human relationships intertwine with betrayal, love, and interests, culminating in the murder of journalist Reem live on air at the height of the revelation of the conflict between the story and reality, and between those who possess the truth and those who seek to silence it. Majd al-Din's experience is not limited to the novel, as he began writing literary prose in 2002 and published in 2018 a collection «Love and Alienation» which includes five works: «Forgiveness»and«Appointment at the City Gate» and«My Beloved, an Independent Country» in its first and second parts and«Diary of a Postponed Text».
The writer's experience bears a striking human aspect as he is one of the people with disabilities due to premature birth, and after a long therapeutic journey, he managed to continue his education within the correspondence system to graduate from the literary branch as the first in the correspondence system in the year 2008. He also obtained in the year 2009 an international computer driving license certificate from the New Horizon Institute.
Majd Al-Din continues his literary project alongside his presence in the cultural scene after obtaining membership in the Union of Jordanian Writers and Authors in the year 2020 presenting an experience based on narrative writing and investing in suspense in approaching social and humanitarian issues, affirming that personal circumstances do not prevent the creation of a literary project capable of reaching the reader.
His participation in the Amman International Book Fair in its twenty-fifth session is a new station to introduce his publications and meet readers, in an experience that combines literary output and continuous cultural presence.
