The Minister of Health, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Baddour, sponsored the activities of the '8th International Conference of the Jordanian Society for Neurosurgery 2026' today, which was held at the Royal Hotel, in the presence of a number of experts, doctors, and surgeons from various local and international medical sectors. The ceremony included speeches by the President of the Society, Dr. Hussein Al-Mufleh Al-Abadi, and the Secretary of the Jordanian Medical Association, along with a number of scientific lectures and commemorative sessions that discussed the history and development of neurosurgery in Jordan. The Secretary of the Jordanian Medical Association, Dr. Muzafar Al-Jalmade, emphasized that neurosurgery is not just a precise specialty, but it is the most profound image of humanitarian trust that touches the secret of life, thought, and emotion, where the surgeon stands on a path of precision and compassion to protect human dignity and intellect.

Al-Jalmade added, as we stand on the threshold of a scientific revolution that takes the specialty towards artificial intelligence and surgical navigation, we affirm that this technology was created to serve the surgeon and guide his steps, not to replace his feelings, so that the Jordan of competencies and chivalry will always be a haven for medicine in treatment and training and a world and a beacon of giving and excellence." The conference activities will continue for three days, including scientific sessions and specialized workshops with the participation of doctors and researchers from several countries, to discuss the latest technical and surgical developments in this biomedical field.
