The Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, Mohsen Rezaei, rejected on Tuesday any dialogue in the current situation with the United States to end the war, after US President Donald Trump expressed his "openness" to dealing with Iran with this goal.
Rezaei wrote on the X platform, "The equations regarding oil and the strait have changed. Attempts to limit the damage will not stop what is coming."
He confirmed in his post, "There will be no negotiations before Iran's conditions are met."
Trump reiterated his "openness" to holding talks with Iran to stop the war launched by the United States and Israel against Iran on February 28th.
Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform that "The failed Iranian nation wants to reach an agreement, quickly and urgently. I will decide whether the United States will choose to engage in it or not, which is something we are open to."
