Iran: We have informed mediators of conditions to resume talks and end the war

The Secretary-General of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, Mohsen Rezaei, said on Saturday that Iran has informed mediators of its conditions to resume negotiations aimed at ending the war with the United States.

Rezaei explained in statements that these conditions include ending the war on all fronts, lifting the freeze on Iranian funds, and ending the naval blockade, adding that consultations are ongoing with Qatari and Pakistani mediators, and that Tehran is waiting for a response from US President Donald Trump.

He believed that Trump's assessments and calculations regarding Iran were wrong, and that the war came at the instigation of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Rezaei said: "It is in Washington's interest to accept our conditions to get out of the war, and Trump's threats will achieve no result, and we are ready for a decisive war"

He added that his country knows the weaknesses of the US military, pointing out that Iran is more prepared than before to face its air attacks.
