Conclusion of Karak Heritage Days with a Poetic Evening at Al-Mazar Heritage House

Ma'an Cooperative for Retired Military Personnel held a poetic evening at Al-Mazar Heritage House, affiliated with the Ruba' al-Ja'fariyah Charitable Association, as part of the third and final day of Karak Heritage Days – the second season, under the patronage of Karak Governor Dr. Qablaan Al-Sharif, and in the presence of a number of residents from the southern Mazar district and various areas of the governorate.

The Chairman of the Events Committee, Retired Brigadier General Ismail, announced the launch of the final day's program, which had a cultural and heritage character, in harmony with the uniqueness of the place and what Al-Mazar House represents in terms of historical and social value, and what it preserves of details linked to the memory of the region and the heritage of its people.

The evening was moderated by researcher Wasil Al-Mabaydeen, with the participation of poets Imad Al-Kharsha, Turki Al-Mabaydeen, Zakariya Al-Suda, and Salah Al-Shamayla, who participated alongside poetry by playing the rebaba, amid interaction from the audience.

Playing the rebaba added a heritage atmosphere to the evening, recalling an aspect of the Karak folk heritage, while the poetic contributions addressed topics related to the place, identity, and popular memory.

Wesam Al-Ja'fari also presented an introductory segment about Al-Mazar Heritage House, during which he reviewed the story of the place and its heritage value, and the importance of preserving houses and sites that document aspects of social and heritage life and preserve the community's memory for future generations.

Holding the evening inside Al-Mazar Heritage House created a space that brought together poetry, popular music, and local heritage, while serving the audience popular and heritage foods that reflected an aspect of the region's food heritage and added an atmosphere of hospitality and camaraderie that characterized the events.

The final day was the culmination of events that lasted three days, during which Karak Heritage Days moved between Karak City and the southern Mazar District, and varied between national, cultural, heritage, artistic, and community events.
