Price-tracking service GasBuddy reported that the national average price for diesel in the United States exceeded six dollars a gallon on Thursday for the very first time.
Patrick De Haan, an analyst at GasBuddy, said on the X platform, "The cost of every truck, every delivery, every parcel, and every grocery trip has just become more expensive."
