The Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) quoted Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi as saying on Monday that his country has discussed with Qatari mediators ideas that will be presented to the United States, and expects to receive the final response from Washington via Doha.
Speaking in New York, Araghchi said that Iran has informed the United States and the international community as well of the conditions set by the Supreme Leader to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, without going into details. Araghchi added, "If the Americans claim that they are seeking to reach an agreement or a peaceful solution, we have presented this solution to them."
