Araghchi: Iran in close contact with mediators to ensure implementation of its proposal

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi affirmed on Wednesday that Tehran remains in close and continuous contact with mediators to review ideas that ensure the implementation of the Iranian proposal aimed at ending the war in the Middle East.
Araghchi added that Iran continues to give diplomacy a chance to succeed, pointing out that the seven-day plan proposed by Tehran could be completed in less than a week if implemented.
Araghchi had previously stated that the proposal allows for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz under certain conditions. US President Donald Trump rejected this proposal, prompting Qatar to step up its mediation efforts.
