The Likud party, led by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, accused Arab parties on Wednesday of supporting terrorism and attempting to undermine the Jewish state, claiming that vote-rigging and violations took place during the Israeli elections, and demanding that the police and the General Security Service (Shin Bet) launch a comprehensive investigation.
Likud added that it is submitting to the police, Shin Bet, and the Election Committee hundreds of testimonies and evidence related to violations in a number of polling stations in Arab towns.
The party stated that the allegations include the presence of thousands of envelopes containing money and electronic ballot papers, threats and acts of violence against polling station staff, more than one voter voting behind the curtain, the use of dual IDs to vote, discrepancies between the number of envelopes and voters, in addition to the use of prohibited voting software.
Likud demanded a comprehensive investigation by the police and Shin Bet into "election rigging."
