Jordan participates in the International Exhibition for Agricultural Investment and Technology in Tunisia

Jordan is participating in the 16th edition of the International Exhibition for Agricultural Investment and Technology "SIAT 2026", which opened on Wednesday in the Tunisian capital, Tunis, with the participation of 155 exhibitors from 11 countries, continuing until October 31, under the slogan: "Investing in adaptable and smart agriculture and building food sovereignty."

The head of the Arab Women's Network for Olive Oil, Nihayah Al-Muhaisen, explained that the participation in the exhibition aims to showcase the products of the network, which consists of members representing 10 Arab countries, with the goal of spreading the culture of extra virgin olive oil.

The Jordanian pavilion includes products by rural women who are members of the network, such as olive oil soap, honey products, dried fruits, Jordanian thyme, and a number of other products specific to Jordanian women.

The exhibition, organized by the Agricultural Investment Promotion Agency in Tunisia and inaugurated by the Minister of Agriculture Ezzeddine Ben Sheikh, aims to provide investors in the agriculture and fisheries sectors, business people, suppliers, technology owners, and startups with the opportunity to discuss ways to develop work and production methods and strengthen economic relations.

This edition, which has adopted Senegal as the guest of honor, includes an exhibition space, an international forum on climate financing, workshops, demonstrations of modern technologies, updates on agricultural research, and a competition for innovative solutions directed at the agricultural sector.
