He stated that this broad Arab and international presence, accompanied by a diversity of expertise and surgical schools, makes the conference a unique opportunity for orthopedic surgeons, specialists, and resident doctors to learn about the latest developments, techniques, and therapeutic and surgical methods, and to exchange experiences directly with specialists from different countries.
Hazaymeh added that the importance of the conference is not measured only by the size of participation and the number of lectures, sessions, and workshops, but by the value and diversity of the participating expertise, and the real space the conference provides for scientific dialogue and knowledge exchange, which contributes to developing medical and surgical practice and enhances Jordan's presence on the map of specialized medical conferences regionally and internationally.
He pointed out that the association wanted this conference, in addition to its scientific and international value, to carry a national message. Therefore, it was decided to name it "Qaryat Hammoud Session," to commemorate the martyrs of the nation who fell in the cowardly terrorist act in the village of Qaryat Hammoud in Karak Governorate, as a tribute to them, and to affirm that the path of science, work, and construction in Jordan continues regardless of the challenges.
Hazaymeh emphasized that this naming expresses the pride of the Jordanian medical family in its homeland, its Hashemite leadership, and its institutions, and reflects the unity of Jordanians and their rallying around their country in the face of everything that targets its security and stability.
For his part, the Chairman of the Conference Scientific Committee, Dr. Yousef Khair, confirmed that this year's scientific program is one of the most diverse and comprehensive programs in the association's history, covering various sub-specialties in orthopedic surgery with the participation of Jordanian, Arab, and international expertise from multiple surgical schools around the world.
Khair explained that the conference is not limited to presenting scientific lectures, but provides a wide space for discussion, exchange of experiences, and debate on the latest techniques and therapeutic and surgical methods, achieving direct scientific and practical benefit for participants, especially orthopedic surgeons, specialists, and resident doctors.
In turn, the Chairman of the Conference Media Committee, Dr. Omar Al-Asmar, confirmed that the "Qaryat Hammoud Session" represents a distinguished scientific and national event, and that the scale of Arab and international participation reflects confidence in the Jordanian medical and scientific level and enhances Jordan's presence on the map of specialized medical conferences.
Al-Asmar pointed out that the Media Committee seeks to highlight the scientific value of the conference and the scale of international participation in it, and to convey its message to the medical community and the public in a manner befitting the status of the Jordan Orthopaedic Association and the name "Qaryat Hammoud Session" and the national significance it carries.
In concluding his statement, Hazaymeh emphasized that the "Qaryat Hammoud Session," with the scientific momentum, broad Arab and international presence, and national message it carries, will be a landmark in the history of the association, expressing his pride in the collective efforts made by the administrative board, the scientific, organizational, and media committees, and everyone who contributed to preparing for the conference and ensuring its success.
