1300 settlers storm Al-Aqsa Mosque during the fifth day of the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles

1,317 settlers stormed the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque on Wednesday, the fifth day of the Jewish 'Feast of Tabernacles', under heavy guard by the Israeli occupation police.

The Islamic Endowment Authority in Jerusalem reported that about 700 settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque, led by former Knesset member Moshe Feiglin, and performed the 'Four Species' rituals, carrying what is known as 'plant sacrifices', and also performed the Talmudic 'Priests' Blessing' prayers.

The Jerusalem Governorate reported that the occupation authorities closed the road leading to the Bab al-Asbat area and the entrance to the 'Turbah' road leading to the town of Silwan, to secure the settlers' access to the Western Wall, coinciding with the events of the fifth day of the so-called 'Feast of Tabernacles'.

On Tuesday, 966 terrorist settlers stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Gate of the Moroccans, under heavy protection by the Israeli occupation police, and performed Talmudic rituals and prayers, chanting collective songs and clapping inside its courtyards.

The courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque have witnessed an escalation in settler incursions since the start of the Jewish holidays, under heavy protection by the occupation police, coinciding with the imposition of military measures in Jerusalem.

Settler incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque continue during the 'Feast of Tabernacles', which began on September 26 and will last until October 2, after the Jewish holidays began with the Hebrew New Year on September 12 and 13, followed by 'Yom Kippur' on September 21 and 22.

According to data from the Jerusalem Governorate, more than 40,661 settlers have stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque since the beginning of the year until the end of August 2026, while the number of decisions to remove Jerusalemites from the mosque reached about 800 since the beginning of the year until early September.
