Dozens of settlers stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Mughrabi Gate on Monday morning, under heavy protection from the Israeli occupation police.
According to "WAFA", 1500 settlers and rabbis stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque last Sunday, performing Talmudic rituals and prayers, especially near the Qattanin Gate, one of the mosque's gates, coinciding with the introduction of so-called "plant sacrifices" into its courtyards, alongside chanting hymns, holding dance circles, and performing epic prostration and collective prostration.
The agency pointed out that these practices come within the framework of a continuous escalation in imposing Talmudic rituals inside the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, amid attempts to change the historical and legal reality in it.
These incursions come amid the tightening of the occupation authorities' military measures around the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Old City, and the imposition of restrictions on the entry and movement of worshipers.
This September witnessed repeated incursions, including the entry of 480 settlers on September 13, coinciding with the so-called "Hebrew New Year", and about 100 settlers on September 20 during the "Day of Atonement".
According to data from the Jerusalem Governorate, 40,661 settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque since the beginning of the year until the end of August 2026, while the decisions to remove Jerusalemites from the mosque reached about 800 since the beginning of the year until early this month.
