The US Nasdaq Composite Index fell today, Wednesday, by 511 points to retreat to 26,692 points, a decline of 1.88 percent.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 47 points to reach 51,662 points, while the Standard & Poor's (S&P 500) index fell about 86 points to reach 7,719 points, a decline of 1.10 percent.
Furthermore, the price of US West Texas Intermediate crude rose by about a dollar, reaching 95.13 dollars per barrel.
