The Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority discussed, on Monday, with a Czech delegation, opportunities to enhance joint cooperation in the investment, tourism, and industrial sectors between the two sides, opening new horizons to attract qualitative investments that cement Aqaba's position as a regional hub and an attractive destination for business and investment.

This came during the reception by the Chairman of the Authority's Board of Commissioners, Shadi Ramzi Al-Majali, of the Czech delegation headed by the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, Eduard Muřický, in the presence of the Czech Ambassador to the Kingdom, Andrea Kučerová, and the Authority's Commissioner for Economic Affairs and Investment, Dr. Mohammad Abu OMR.

The meeting addressed the investment opportunities available in Aqaba and the incentives and investment advantages provided by the Authority to attract Czech investments to promising sectors, alongside discussing ways to enhance cooperation in attracting Czech tourists to Aqaba, and exchanging expertise in industrial fields.

The two sides also discussed mechanisms for organizing reciprocal visits for investors, and enhancing networking between Czech investors and their local counterparts, contributing to the building of new economic partnerships and expanding the horizons of cooperation to serve the common interests of both sides.
