The Amman Chamber of Commerce organized a solidarity stand in front of its headquarters, expressing solidarity with the families of the martyrs and the injured of the terrorist attack that took place in Karak, and affirming the unity of Jordanians and the cohesion of their national fabric in the face of terrorism and extremism, with the participation of the chairman and members of the Chamber's management committee and its employees.
The Chairman of the Chamber's management committee, Mohammad Abu Odeh, said that the terrorist crime and the pain and sadness it left in the hearts of Jordanians call for further adherence to the values of national unity, tolerance, and coexistence, stressing that Jordan will remain strong through the cohesion, awareness, and rejection of all forms of violence, hatred, and extremism by its people.
Abu Odeh praised the efforts made by the security services in tracking down the perpetrators of the crime, which culminated in the arrest of the three terrorists after a joint and precise security operation, stressing that the speed of response and the continuation of search, investigation, and raid operations until their arrest, without any casualties among the security forces, reflect the efficiency of the security services, their readiness, and their ability to protect the homeland and pursue anyone who dares to tamper with its security and stability.
Abu Odeh affirmed that the success of the security services in reaching the perpetrators of the crime and bringing them to justice sends a decisive message that Jordan is a state of institutions and law, and that terrorism will not find a safe haven on its land, praising the courage of the security services' personnel, their sacrifices, and their constant vigilance, and stressing that Jordanians stand behind their security services and take pride in their national role in preserving lives and protecting societal peace.
Abu Odeh stressed that the commercial and service sector stands, alongside all the people of the nation, behind His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, in confronting terrorism and extremism, rejecting violence and hatred, and consolidating the values of tolerance, moderation, and coexistence.
