Darwazeh emphasized the importance of supporting efforts to achieve a just and comprehensive peace, based on the two-state solution, which guarantees the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the lines of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital, stressing the need to protect the rights of the Palestinian people, stop the escalation, and enhance humanitarian efforts in the Gaza Strip.

Darwazeh discussed with the Ambassador the opportunities available to enhance cooperation in education and technology and increase Australian investments in the Kingdom.

For her part, Amawi spoke about the importance of continuing to develop relations between Jordan and Australia, and enhancing channels of communication and cooperation, especially in areas that contribute to expanding the horizons of partnership between the two countries, appreciating Australia's position in supporting peace and stability efforts, recognizing the establishment of a Palestinian state, and supporting humanitarian efforts in the Gaza Strip.

Amawi stressed the need to stop the escalation in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, and the importance of alleviating the humanitarian suffering of the Palestinians.

She noted the importance of continuing parliamentary communication between the two countries, which contributes to exchanging expertise and enhancing understanding of various issues of mutual interest, pointing to the importance of the role that parliamentary diplomacy can play in strengthening the relations of friendship and cooperation between Jordan and Australia.

For her part, Ambassador Ganguly confirmed that Australia is closely following developments related to the Palestinian issue, and supports efforts to achieve a just and lasting peace, which guarantees the rights and legitimate aspirations of the Palestinian people.

She pointed to the importance of the two-state solution and the need to protect civilians, ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, and create the appropriate conditions for resuming the political track.

The Australian Ambassador expressed her appreciation for the level of relations between Jordan and Australia, and her country's keenness to continue enhancing joint cooperation and coordination, praising the role played by Jordan in promoting dialogue, understanding, and supporting stability in the region.

She pointed out that the sectors of agriculture, water, environment, transportation (railways), and mining in the Kingdom are all attractive sectors that are of interest to Australia to enhance economic and investment cooperation between the two friendly countries.
