Two Houthi Missiles Target Aden Airport

The media office of the Aden City Security Department in Yemen reported that two ballistic missiles launched by the Houthis targeted Aden International Airport, with no reports of casualties.

The attack comes as several fronts in Yemen are witnessing a military escalation, with government forces launching an operation in the border area between Lahj and Taiz governorates, aiming to retake the Al-Wazi'a district west of Taiz, in preparation for advancing towards the districts of Al-Mukha and Dhubab, which are under Houthi control.

Meanwhile, Houthi-affiliated media reported that the districts of Mudhaykhira in Ibb Governorate and Shara'eb in Taiz Governorate were shelled.

Yemeni sources also said that the Houthis are besieging the commander of the 35th Armored Brigade and hundreds of government forces fighters in one of the villages of Al-Mawasit district, south of Taiz, after cutting off their supply lines.

In Saudi Arabia, the Ministry of Defense announced the interception and destruction of a ballistic missile launched by the Houthis towards Khamis Mushait in southern the Kingdom.

The ministry said that Sanaa and the governorates of Saada and Amran are sources of Houthi missile threats, affirming the continuation of its operations to neutralize the threat of ballistic missiles and surface-to-surface missiles and to destroy their launch sources.
