Border Guard units, within their area of responsibility, were able to monitor the balloons, deal with them, and shoot them down inside Jordanian territory. The narcotics they were carrying were seized in coordination with security and military agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department, and the seized items were transferred to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal measures.
