Tabqat Fahl 'Starts Licensing Vegetable Shops and Delays Street Vendors Until the End of the Week'

Tabqat Fahl Municipality announced the start of enforcing the decision to grant professional licenses to commercial shops designated for selling vegetables and fruits immediately, as part of a comprehensive regulatory campaign aimed at regulating markets and commercial activity in all its areas. The municipality gave a final deadline for street vendors and mobile vehicles extending until the end of this week to rent and equip commercial shops and complete licensing procedures according to the approved instructions and standards.

The Chairman of the Municipal Committee, Engineer Hamza Al-Momani, confirmed that the competent authorities will start from the beginning of next week in implementing intensive regulatory and security campaigns to control all violations, stressing the adoption of strict legal measures against those who fail to rectify their situations, including referring them to the administrative judge according to the established procedures.

Al-Momani explained that these steps come out of concern for regulating commercial work and reducing informality and negative manifestations that affect traffic and the general appearance, calling on everyone to cooperate and comply with the issued instructions to achieve the public interest and provide an organized and civilized commercial environment.
